LOVED this slower paced video, Lacey. I found it easier to follow and, kind of, more 'aimed' at my abilities. I felt like I could really have a go at this one and even, after a few tries, possibly achieve something I'd be chuffed with. ('chuffed' - an English expression meaning happy, pleased, thrilled). I have always wondered why some content creators don't just used a clock on the side. I am ok with jump cuts.. or sped up footage, just give me an idea of how long the breaks were and how long it actually took you. It would help so much.

i was trying to start with cheap watercolors and was starting to get really frustrated. A friend gifted me a small Winsor and Newton palette. And it made all the difference because the colours did what they were supposed to, it wasnt that i was useless. So I would say that new people should start with a small good palette. Thank you very much for this video. Is makes so much sense

A perfect flower to incorporate some of your watercolour bumblebees. Our bees & butterflies are enjoying Marshmallow flowers, Pansies, Roses, a very special Hydrangea plant, even the flowers growing on the tops of our garden mint.

I know what I'm painting tonight. My first not babysitting job when I was young, was a flower shop. The boss called them Happyolas😂 I agree, so adorable to see bee butts poking out 🐝

I like to let the pallet dry instead of cleaning it off so I have premixed colors for next time it helps cut down on mixing time

Why would you need to wait for them to dry first? Why can’t you just use it right away?
